At CUA, we have a pilot project with four DC Catholic schools
to address deficiencies in science and math education and
to increase the number of students interested in pursuing technical careers.
We are providing professional development (PD) instruction to teachers,
grades 3-6, on how to do hands-on/inquiry based learning using
classroom science kits developed elsewhere under NSF sponsorship.
This PD instruction occurs at CUA and in the teacher’s classroom.
